Now onto more information for planning your visit! In this section you’ll find info for suggestions to include on your visit, as well as things to avoid.

where is logan canyon?

About 85 miles north of Salt Lake City, Logan Canyon is definitely an area “off the beaten path.” After taking the I-15 highway to exit 362, you’ll take a windy mountain road that weaves through rural mountain areas for about 30 miles. Logan Canyon is about 35 miles southwest of Bear Lake, which straddles the Utah-Idaho border. The fact that Logan is a little harder to access means less visitors and a more private experience!

These photos were taken about 20 miles from Logan - you don’t have to go far to find yourself completely surrounded by wildflower blooms and tall pine trees! This area is part of the Uinta-Cache National Forest, part of the Wasatch Front mountain range.
