What past clients are saying:
You have acted as a photographer, a wedding planner, and a best friend during this process and we couldn't be happier with everything!
These photos are amazing. They left me beaming! Clicking through them made me feel like I was reliving the day. I wanted to let you know just how much your presence meant to me and Chris how much you made me feel like I was getting married. You experienced first hand just how complicated our wedding planning process was and while we always talked about getting married in Joshua Tree, this wedding wasn't exactly what I was planning. I went through periods in planning where I felt really down about everything. When the day finally arrived and you came to start documenting, I instantly felt bridal for the first time! You really made my day special. From the planning, the elopement kit, the endless email conversations to your reassurance about whose day it was during our pre-wedding call you made it perfect. You have acted as a photographer, a wedding planner, and a best friend during this process and we couldn't be happier with everything! We could not have done this without you and could never thank you enough for capturing our day so perfectly and giving us so many physical memories to keep forever.
From our initial conversation to planning she made it so effortless and helped guide us along the way.
100% recommend!!! Morgan was our elopement photographer and I couldn't be happier. I can't imagine anyone else but her being our photographer. She is not only an amazing photographer, but she is also the sweetest person and made the whole experience incredible. From our initial conversation to planning she made it so effortless and helped guide us along the way. She made sure that everything was planned out enough that we felt at ease that everything would go smoothly, and she also made sure to leave room for any surprises that come up on wedding days. On the day of she made everyone feel so comfortable that, to be honest, I kind of forgot she was taking photos at one point, it kind of felt like we were hanging out with a friend. She captured so many beautiful and REAL moments, I cried looking through our wedding pictures because it felt like we were re-living the day! If you want beautiful pictures that are genuine and capture the true essence of your day, Morgan is your girl!
“We couldn’t have been happier with Morgan.
We were looking for a photographer with a documentary/photojournalism style and were so happy with our photos. Prior to the wedding she was super responsive and provided great insight into the timeline. On the day of, Morgan was punctual, professional yet comforting and relaxed, and FUN! We love Morgan!!”

“The redrocks of Southeastern Utah get a lot of love, but northern Utah surrounding Salt Lake City has a totally different landscape – you’ll be overwhelmed by gardens, greenery and tall pine trees! Couples looking for a gorgeous venue, easy to access for guests with a historic backdrop should check out The Chase Mill at Tracy Aviary & Botanical Garden. See photos + read about Cianna and Josh’s wedding day at this Salt Lake City Wedding Venue!”
“She said yes (obviously!) and when she reached out to me to shoot their engagement photos I could NOT have been more thrilled and honored. Lior and Katie love adventuring to the desert of Joshua Tree, a getaway just two hours east of Los Angeles with tons of antique shops, unique handcrafted goods like the Crochet museum, and western style saloons. Since the two will be getting married in San Miguel, CA, a town in San Luis Obispo County about ten miles north of Paso Robles, taking engagement photos in Joshua Tree meant incorporating place that means so much to them into this next chapter as a married couple.
The desert around us was incredibly windy, really highlighting Katie’s dress and giving their shoot this super romantic vibe. As the sun set over the desert the two threw their heads back in laughter, wrapped up in each others’ arms, and made Joshua Tree look wild and free in the way only two people madly in love really ever could..”
Palm Springs is the perfect place for playful, fun engagement photos! For Marissa and Alex - a couple known to their friends for their silly, carefree personalities and larger-than-life laughs - Palm Springs was an awesome place for an engagement shoot. It was insanely windy but luckily, Marissa and Alex were unfazed by it, and it honestly made for THE MOST romantic golden hour photos! With the sun setting behind them, windmills churning away in the distance, these two laughed, ran, danced, twirled, and kissed (and there were even a few piggyback rides!) til the last bit of light left. It was an epic adventure with two hilarious, amazing, wholehearted people and I LOVE how the photos really show their personalities.
After over a decade together, Morgan and Tyler decided to get married in a place they both absolutely love: beneath the ancient coastal Redwood trees of California. On our first call, Morgan told me that she dreamt of marrying Tyler in a forest location, but never thought bringing the dogs would be possible - until she came across one of my blog posts and realized it IS, in fact, possible!!! One might even say… pawsible. It was quite a journey, as the couple traveled all the way from Arizona to the Bay Area in order to make this forest wedding dream a reality! Dedicated dog parents, their day couldn’t be complete without their rescue pups, Duke, Prinn, and Frasier (a.k.a. Beans) by their side. Morgan and Tyler are both pharmacists by day but spend their spare time fostering dogs – my heart! Together, joined by just two of their friends, Morgan and Tyler exchanged heartfelt wedding vows as the sun peeked between the trees on a beautiful day in northern California.
“Choosing where in Utah to get married can be so difficult - this beautiful state’s home to impossibly tall mountains, epic canyons made of red rocks, alpine lakes, and everything in between…. Helping Isez and Ismael find a beautiful, dog-friendly place for their elopement was so much fun + extremely rewarding.
Isez + Ismael originally had hoped to elope in Scotland. When that plan was stalled indefinitely due to the pandemic they pivoted, knowing that although they wouldn’t be able to travel like they’d intended, they could still bring a sense of adventure to an elopement here in Utah. And that’s exactly what they did! As an added bonus, they brought their super sweet 6-month-old French Bulldog, Blu!”
If you’re thinking about getting married in the mountains of Utah, these are absolutely the places you’ve got to consider for your ceremony. Of course, it depends on what exactly you’re looking for: are you picturing a warm, summer wedding surrounded by lush alpine trees? Or are you team winter wedding, prepped for an Elsa-level ceremony, and hitting the slopes after?
Whatever your preference, these five Utah mountain venues would elevate any wedding day! (See what I did there?)
Situated in Marin County just a bit north of San Francisco, Point Reyes National Seashore here has breathtaking views. It’s no wonder this spot makes a perfect backdrop for romantic engagement photos! The wind turned way UP and the sun came out just right - cue major romance magic!

Ashley and Devon got married beneath ancient coastal redwood trees on their one-year anniversary in Henry Cowell State Park in Santa Cruz, California. Immediately after talking with Ashley, I knew she and Devon had something SO special and rare. It was such a beautiful day full of happy tears, and big, big laughs. See some of favorite photos from Ashley + Devon’s wedding day and learn more about the Redwoods in this post!

Five stars aren't enough. STOP your search for a photographer because you've found her.
If you want to look back at your day and remember how you felt, see what other people were seeing that maybe you weren't, and instantly be transported back to a particular moment, hire Morgan. If you want a friend and a hype woman who happens to be amazing with a camera, hire Morgan! We were given Morgan's name from another photographer way back in 2019. Photography was one of the top priorities for my wedding day, and we were instantly drawn to the natural, candid nature of her photos. We met for the first time in Malibu for our engagement photos, which we absolutely adored. Morgan knows how to make anyone feel comfortable in front of a camera, even when doing silly walking photos or kissing in front of random passerby's. Our "big" wedding got postponed due to COVID, but we chose to get legally married on our original date in August 2020. Even though only a handful of people were going to be there, we knew we wanted Morgan to capture the day. Luckily, Morgan is an expert on elopements herself and not only agreed to take our photos, but essentially became our mini planner as well! Once we established our location, Morgan drove up to Santa Barbara wine country, took amazing photos, then packed up and moved to Utah THE NEXT DAY! Not to mention, she sent us our sneak peeks by 9am the morning after our elopement!!! We were absolutely blown away by her support and dedication in making our elopement feel romantic and special. We finally had our long-awaited "big" wedding in October 2021. With two full galleries and hundreds of emails exchanged over two years, we couldn't wait to work with Morgan again. As with the two times before, she made us feel incredibly comfortable on our wedding day and captured so many beautiful moments. Our family and bridal party were so complimentary of working with Morgan on the wedding day and of her photos. We haven't even gotten the full gallery yet but based on the sneak peeks, I know that I'm going to cry!! Thank you, Morgan, for preserving countless memories through your beautiful photos.
